West End Taz is a 27-year-old artist reppin’ the great state of New Jersey. We caught Taz during his first ever stop in Los Angeles, where he sat down with UNDRGRND's Pofsky for Episode 1 of "Artist 2 Artist".
The RnB singer & rapper started making music when he was fourteen years old. He attended the Institute of Audio Research in New York City, however credits his “in-the-field” internships as the experiences that truly prepared him for a career in music. He even spent time as a self-proclaimed “roadie” to Valarie Adams & The Dimensions, a popular Jersey-based RnB band known for performing at large parties like weddings, company events, and Bat Mitzvahs. Taz credits this time as being key in the development of his music technical skillset.
Today, West End Taz has collabed with the likes of Fatboy SSE (New Jersey), BigKayBeezy (Chicago), and Doggi Krazy (New York City). He currently sits at 2.5k monthly listeners on Spotify, and has a variety of impressive music videos available on YouTube (UNDRGRND’s suggestion: “Deep” directed & edited by Benny Flash).
In July 2022, West End Taz released his most recent album—“Heartbreak Estate”—a 14-track project featuring Flyy the BirD, BlackH3art, M$, and Max YB. The release of the album was followed shortly by a 6-city tour in early October, with stops in New Jersey, Florida, and Connecticut, & Pennsylvania. Aside from working on his craft (“I’m a studio junkie, I’m one of those”) Taz runs the West End Company, a brand committed to music management, fashion, media, and building a community of hard working creatives.
On this debut episode of “Artist 2 Artist”, Pofsky brings West End Taz to The Room Melrose (a recording studio in Hollywood) to chop it up about Taz’s new release, transforming from a rapper to a RnB singer, and why 03 Greedo is his favorite rapper from Los Angeles.

Jersey’s own West End Taz teams up with producer Illegal2x for “Shake Sumn’. The track is off of their collaboration album “2X”. With other singles on the album taking over New Jersey like; “Checkin In” and “Rich Sex” the West End Company is already coming out of the gates strong to make a name for them selves. West End Taz (Real name Charles Hall ~ Born July 6th, 1995) is an American singer, songwriter, audio engineer, and entrepreneur. Born in New Jersey, he was involved in music at the early age of 14 when he began recording Jersey Club vocals over a webcam microphone & online music software. After graduating high school and attending the Institute of Audio Research in NYC Taz became immersed in the studio & music industry. In 2016 Taz formed "West End Company" a fashion, media, event, news, promotion, & music management company all in one. West End Taz has released numerous projects under the “West End Company” imprint such as the Wild Wild West Ep, the Welcome To The West End Album, the Seaside Album, West End Wednesdays 1, 2, & 3, BIG WEST END, 2X, Heartbreak Estate, & the Now Never Lasts Album . He also has an immense catalogue including over 100 songs with features such as BigKayBeezy, 10KDunkin, Lawsy, Fatboy SSE, DJ Jayhood, & More.
