Hey there! I’m TishFaux, a folk singer-songwriter who sort of stumbled into music—literally. A track and field injury sidelined my running dreams, but music was always waiting in the wings (thanks, Dad—he’s a singer-songwriter too).
My songs come from everyday life and my past, but here’s the twist: I daydream—a lot. Not your average “staring out the window” kind of daydreaming, but full-on maladaptive daydreaming, where my mind runs wilder than a kid on a sugar rush. That’s where most of my songs are born. Since these dreams aren’t exactly real, the name “Faux” just made sense.
