The Affectionates speak the urgent tongue of the American romantic. Punctuated with emotion and emphasized by four-letter Indie rock. Their sound is a kaleidoscope of lo-fi, guitar pop, electronica, and folk which bouys a line between Townes Van Zandt-esque lyrical weight and The Pixies exuberance.
Emerging form the gritty Durham, NC USA house party scene as a new original Indie rock band, The Affectionates released their debut EP What To Build, Who To Destroy May 12, 2016 on 10 Foot Woody Records.
