Star Steed is an R&B fusion band from Tyler, TX started by Alex Armando Ruiz (Guitar/ Vocals). Following the release of his self titled E.P. "Star Steed" back in February, the project grew into a band featuring the talents of Natalie Rose (Vocals), Brian Sanders (Piano) and Eric "Chewie" Taylor (Drums). Performing groovy live shows and never playing a set the same way twice, Star Steed identifies as genre-fluid, being able to play with Alternative rock bands like Jeremiah Jackson, Jazz Fusion group Pocket Tangerine, Roots- Rock band Meredith Crawford and the Backhand Band to opening for Rising Country music star Erin Kinsey. Star Steed has sights on a full length album release date for late 2016 or early 2017.
