Some things are hard to explain, and need to be witnessed first-hand to fully understand and appreciate. Smokin' D is perhaps one of those things; mixing folk, rockabilly, punk, country, blues, and rock with a big dose of humor and sarcasm into a unique sound that is hard to classify, yet fun to listen to. Maybe it should be called Folkabilly-Punk or 'Murricana. Regardless of how you label Smokin' D, you're sure to be entertained when listening or watching a show.
Smokin' D released his debut album, Finally Flushed, way back in 2017 and has since added a bad-ass drummer, JT. The second studio album, Lowered Expectations, was released on 12/7/18. A third studio album, and the first full album featuring JT on drums, Strife of the Party was released in 2019.
