Sizzle Smooth Jazz Band
"Sizzle" began cooking it's special blend of smooth jazz at Coach's Lounge in Stockton California. In a relative short time "Sizzle" has become a vibrant and dynamic force on the local music scene being hailed as one of the hottest bands around. "Sizzle" has be called upon to perform in several musical situations. Performing at the famed Peacock Loungei in SF, Geoffrey's Inner Circle Oakland, The Empress Marque Lounge, and most recently the San Joaquin county fair with Claudette King (BB King's daughter) The five piece band consists of: Earnest Nation Keyboards: Donnie Rogers Bass: Manny Melchor Saxophones: Bobby Jones Drums: Steve Jackson Guitar. These talented musicians deliver a soothing mixture of jazz, R&B, Blues, and Rock playing tunes from Herbir Hancock, Miles Davis, George Benson, Grover Washington, David Sanborn, Bob James, Dave Grusin, Norman Brown etc..
"Sizzle" has been able to mix their special musical ingredients in a special way to move crowds through soft ballads and sizzling grooves that is sure to please every audience.
