“The Determined Diva”, Shuneal Sassy—- Song Writer, Performer, Music Producer, and Businesswoman—--Was born in Jamaica, West Indies, The birthplace of reggae and Dancehall music. Her given name at birth on December 5, 1990, was Daniella Russhana Manning. But she adopted the name Shuneal Sassy at the birth of her performing career in 2009. This name she believed suited her.” Sassy personality”.As a performer,” The Determined Diva” is a reggae and dancehall artiste who has demonstrated her versatility as a singer, sing-jay, and dee-jay.

Shuneal Sassy demonstrated her love for music and the performing arts from when she was a young girl attending primary and high schools in Jamaica. The “Tastee Talent Concert'' and The famous “Sting Concert” were the launching pads she used to introduce herself to Live Jamaican Audiences.

Her career got a further boost when she was placed fifth among the female finalists in the very popular “Magnum Kings and Queens of The Dancehall” contest in 2011. Her many, Mostly self-written songs can be heard on iTunes, and her videos seen on YouTube. Recently she has released songs and music videos such as “Chap Chap” and “I’ll Be Your Friend” Included in some of these recent works are well-known re-mixes with Dexta Daps and Jah Vinci And several of her freestyle efforts have gone viral on social media. As a producer “The Determined Diva” has released a number of songs such as “One Life”, done on her music label Island Gemz Production. Additionally, she continues to collaborate with the Canadian Music Label, Nostrac Production releasing her recent single “Cyber Love”

This versatile young lady is also a Media Technology Institute Trained Videographer and Photographer and is a past student of the Vocational Training Development Institute where she did a diploma course in entertainment and event management. It was these skills that helped “The Determined Diva” To launch her Island Gemz Production Label and the world's first mobile Photostudio “The Photo Car”. Her company, Hi5 Photos Limited offers Jamaicans a convenient way of doing business.
