Bio
Formed in February of 2020, Mothman Moth Band features deep-rooted rhythms sourced from drummer Jamee Floyd's head-nodding breakbeats, and textured grooves from bassist Anthony Keiss. The color of the room comes from Jake Mappes-- piano maestro and galactic super-wizard, upon whose oceans guitarist Ned Dagenhard surfs. Each of the four members is a songwriter, and all sing lead on various tracks. Jamee and Jake are classically-trained vocalists, Jamee having studied since 2004, while Ned and Anthony's longstanding musical partnership lays the instrumental foundation for the group. Their sound can be associated with 90s-era radio rock and "yacht rock," including varieties of pop, funk, and R&B. They are based in Atlanta, GA.
The band's first single, 'Hangnail!' is out now on Spotify and Apple Music.
