Rating/Excellent – “Simple” is an album that blew me away with how great it actually is in execution. It is a great album that pays homage to the folk sound of the 60s and 70s, but with a such unique character and oomph that it does not even sound dated. The artist is extremely talented from a compositional and vocal perspective. Highly recommended! - Music Review World

Bio
Jess and her band are a 5-6 piece group playing mostly originals written by Jess (along with some of the covers that have inspired her, like Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, Joan Osborne, Carole King, etc) in an Americana-folk-rock style!
The band features Jess on lead vocals/accordion/keys/ukulele, Dan Dechellis on keys/organ, Andy Mowrer on guitars/mandolin, Mitch Shelly on bass, and Vinnie Presite on drums. Often they are joined by Sara Ruch on singing saw, background vocals and the occasional dulcimer.
The band both rocks out when they need to, and at the same time Jess can also make the audience feel like she is singing directly to them.
Some quotes from venues and presenters:
“Jess easily tailors a customized performance to individual needs and engages the crowd on every level.”
"Jess' music flows from her heart. The imagery weaves a rhythmic path that leads you through her meaningful stories. The passion for her work is evident when performing for either a small intimate gathering or larger venue."
