I am Patrick Drake. I was born in Meridian, Mississippi. Raised to travel, a military dependent. Nomadic experience forms my perspective. Creative writing empowers that perspective. I love music and although I have yet to learn to play an instrument, this phenomenon known as hip-hop/rap emerges, the muse and her heartbeat.
Family and military service have kept me away from her for some time now. I now welcome the challenge to learn, to compose, to be.
