Born in Utica, NY and raised in East Tennessee, Tyrique Shahmir is a 22 year old MCs who's sound is heavily influenced by elements of both southern jazz and northern lyricism. His greatest musical influences are Louis Armstrong, Nas, and Curren$y. As a hip hop artist with an effortless delivery and the ability to harmonize, his music has a unique and refreshing feel. To date, he has opened for Future, Starlito, and Mike Jones among others.
