“Treis” (or “Treis & Friends”) is a suburban funk concept band based out of central Florida. Led by frontman Treis Alexander, the artist documents the events of his life through music, utilizing multi- perspective narratives through suburbia, classicalism and other themes as icons in his story.

Treis’ style varies greatly from album to album; the debut HOUSES was a sonically concise, instrumentally stripped, and lyrically heavy project that focused mostly on the nostalgia and innocence of childhood, while the follow up project “Homesick” took a more funk/pop sound,  focused largely on “lyrical feelings” rather than storyteller writing featured on the first album.

The band is currently working on their untitled next release.
