She Was the Carnation and the Rose (USA) was formed in the late rainy months of 2023, by singer Noémi Sárog, songwriter Michael Seebold, drummer Bill Eagen.
The band's debut album The Guardian Angel, comprises five original songs with atmospheres ranging from the wintry, to the melancholic, to the serene. The Guardian Angel is also the first installment in the band's planned trilogy of albums (the "stained glass" trilogy), across which listeners can expect a palette of dream atmospheres, mellifluent and dark passages interwoven, the odd jazz nocturne or classical minuet.
The first single, Birds Before Rain, released summer 2024.
