She's a little electro; hes a little bit folk 'n' roll. Together, Melissa Bobbitt and Raphael Patricio A pledge their allegiance to exploratory soundscapes as Pistachio Novella. The Los Angeles duo's debut EP, the self-released Another Somewhere, showcases four diverse songs that would appeal to any musical palate. Pistachio Novella's resulting sound, Electrofolk, aims to be an all-day listening affair: from opening ones bedroom eyes on a dewy morning to slipping on the dancing shoes in the heat of the night.
