Imposters in Rome's core lineup consists of Vocalist/Multi-Instrumentalist Alex Brown and drummer Ben Cato (The Dangerous Summer, 1994). Drawing from a wide pool of influences across genres like hardcore, post-punk, alternative, and bebop, Imposters in Rome brings a unique brand of synth-tinged power pop into the third decade of the 21st century.
With lyrical themes that span topics from self-doubt and self-discovery to loss and love, Imposters In Rome's music retains a strong pop sensibility while offering just enough sophistication in arrangement and harmony to keep the trained ear interested.
Imposters In Rome performs live as a four-piece with help from Luke Blasé (Battle of Heart & Mind) and Rennie Settanni (The Codes), bringing a polished live sound, an energetic stage presence, and road-weathered professionalism to any venue, large or small.
