AKwrd is a hip hop artist hailing from Pensacola Florida however has been transplanted to South Dakota. With a large range of music from hard-hitting dirty south rap influenced by his upbringing in Florida to heart-wrenching deep soulful tunes about relationships and lives struggles, he's sure to touch everyone in some way with his music.
He owns his own record label: The Higher Circle Music Group (THCMG) with his label partner DJ DamDan. He currently has been spending every single day in the studio pushing out more music in a week then most do in a month. He says his motivation is to keep his fans relating to his life and making them move with each new track recorded.
AKwrd has currently dropped a new mixtape(jan 1st 2020): The Process vol. 1, which is the first installment in a series of mixtapes of his life's journeys. He also is releasing his first full-length album for sale on all major platforms on Jan 13th.
His musical influences include names such as Kevin Gates, Jelly Roll, Merkules, DaBaby, Yelawolf and Rittz.
