The sister duo Raggedy Anne arrive to captivate the entire country music scene, as they premiere their single "Love Of A Good Man", a song that creates a super sweet and endearing melody, since, with an acoustic guitar, a bass, a banjo and a steel guitar create an enormous and memorable atmosphere, which may well enter a very beneficial commercial field, since it really sounds fantastic! Raggedy Anne is a country music dynamic duo of two sisters Cara Anderton and Cassidi Hesdon. They are known for their perfectly in-sync harmonies that range from sweet and haunting to fiercely powerful. These women have a solid harmony that can only be shared through their deep sibling connection. In true family tradition, their love of music was handed down to them by their mother. After discovering a box in a storage closet of old photos and records of their mother touring and performing in her time, a passion to follow in her footsteps was ignited in these two sisters. Traveling and moving all over the country as children, country music was the soundtrack of their life. The many hours spent in the truck traveling and listening to artists such as George Strait, Allison Krauss, and The Chicks, would ultimately influence their own sound. When they finally settled in western Pennsylvania, the sisters continued to sharpen their music skills by performing in their school choirs, and competing in various vocal competitions. Although they began often competing against each other, they found a strength in sibling harmony that was unmatched and joined forces. Raggedy Anne started their journey together playing out at local venues around the Pittsburgh area where they developed a knack for performing. The two sisters took their talent a step further and decided to write their own original music, which honed in on their unique country sound. After claiming 1st place in the country category in the 2019 Great American Song Contest, the duo took their talent all the way to Nashville where they created new original music with some of the industry's best on Music Row. Most recently, the sisters clinched victories with their single "Love of a Good Man"; including placing as a Finalist in the 2023 American Songwriter contest, 1st place win in the Country Category of SongDoor International 2023 songwriting contest, and overall Grand Prize Winner in the 2023 Great American Song contest. As the sisters emerge into the country music scene, you will be hit in the heart with their honest, relatable, and sometimes fiery lyrics.
